Preparing engineering students requires advanced and effective educational and training programs that are compatible with the rapid and successive changes in the information age. Therefore, it is necessary to prepare these students in a distinguished manner to meet the intense labor market need for them in all specializations. Therefore, the Environmental Architecture Engineering Program applies a new vision to develop the environmental architectural and urban education system to keep pace with future developments and meet the requirements of the labor market in a good climate that helps creativity and innovation.
The Environmental Architecture Engineering program qualifies for obtaining a bachelor’s degree in the field of engineering (specializing in environmental architecture engineering), and is registered with the Engineers Syndicate after graduating from the Architectural Engineering Division.
The Environmental Architecture Engineering (EAE) program is divided into two sections on which the students’ graduation project is based:
Environmental Architectural Design “EAD”.
Environmental Urban Design “EUD”.
Distinctive features of the program:
1- Providing an academic guidance system that helps the student prepare a study program that suits the student’s abilities and continue to pass the program hours successfully.
2- The student enjoys competitive ability at the regional level, by providing him with cognitive sciences and applied skills, through a distinguished study program that keeps pace with the latest scientific developments, and through the application of architectural education quality management systems and the achievement of reference national academic standards.
3- Using modern scientific programs and electronic courses in the educational process, and following modern educational methods based on acquiring competencies.
4- Preparing a qualified student for work, who has the ability to self-learn, which helps him develop his scientific and research skills and update his information through continuing architectural education.
5- Providing the student with professional skills through field training programs, to ensure his readiness for the labor market in all fields after graduation.
6- Providing the opportunity to specialize for the environmental architect who desires a specific specialization according to the study program (Inter-Architectural Design) - (Inter-Urban Design) in (the fifth level) and through the graduation project submitted by the student.
7- Preparing an architectural graduate who works as a lifelong learner with the goal of sustainable professional development, adheres to the ethics and laws of the profession, and demonstrates the ability to perform performance evaluation and self-evaluation skills.
8-Preparation of an interdisciplinary architect proficient in effective communication skills, leadership, management, and entrepreneurship.
9-Participating in community service, developing the environment, and providing a tangible economic return by rationalizing energy consumption in the buildings he designs.
